Hello Sauras, this is Mr. Bottoms with your weekly update from South Stokes. Drivers Education will begin tomorrow, Monday April 4th. Congratulations to the South Stokes JROTC Drill Team on their great performance this weekend. The team placed 1st in several categories including 1st overall. With a look ahead next week April 12th seniors will have cap and gown pictures and April 13th some seniors will be taking the Work keys assessment. In Saura sports on Tuesday Tennis is away at Alleghany, soccer is away at Starmount and softball is home against Elkin. On Wednesday golf is at Cross Creek soccer is home against East Wilkes and Baseball is home against Surry Central. That night is Military Night at the Sauras Ball Park where we will be honoring active duty and veterans for their service. On Thursday Tennis is at East Wilkes, golf is at New River, Track is at North Stokes, Softball is at Oak Grove and Soccer is home against North Stokes. On Friday tennis is at West Stokes and softball is away against Alleghany.
