Saura Weekly Update 9/2/24-9/6/24

Hello Sauras! This is Chris Bottoms with your Saura Weekly Update. School is out Monday, September 2nd for Labor Day. On Tuesday at 6:30 there will be an FFA Alumni Meeting in Mrs. Ferguson's classroom. On Thursday, a representative from UNC-Chapel Hill will be on campus to talk with students interested in attending UNC. This Friday, September 6th is picture day at South Stokes. This week parking passes will be distributed during lunch. This Saturday, September 7th, the school will be open from 11:00 am - 5:00pm for Seniors that would like to paint their parking spaces. Seniors will need to see Mrs. Dunn for details. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Sydney Zuchick. Sydney helped direct students/collect paperwork during Chromebook craziness on the first week of school. Thank you Sydney, for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, on Tuesday, tennis hosts Starmount, Cross Country is at Ivey Redmond, and volleyball hosts East Wilkes . On Wednesday, golf travels to Alleghany and soccer hosts North Surry. Thursday, golf is at Pilot Knob, tennis travels to North Stokes, volleyball travels to East Surry, soccer travels to Bishop McGuinness, and JV football travels to McMichael.
