Saura Weekly Update 8/28/23 - 9/1/23

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. This Monday, August 28th, we welcome back our students for the 2023-2024 school year. Your children's teachers and I are excited about this school year. Our Sauras are going to lead the way at school, in our community and across the county. On Monday at 8:25 students will report to the gym for a school assembly. Students will then report to Homeroom. Students that need to make changes to their schedule should report to the office to talk with their counselor during the class they wish to change. On Tuesday there will be a band booster meeting at in the band room at 6:30. This week in Saura sports, on Monday volleyball travels to Forbush, soccer travels to East Surry and last week's JV football game will be held at West Stokes. On Tuesday, tennis travels to East Wilkes and volleyball hosts Alleghany. On Wednesday tennis travels to West Stokes, volleyball travels to Mt. Airy, cross country will be at Ivey Redmon, soccer travels to NC Leadership Academy and the JV game against McMichael will be held at North Stokes High School due to the track project. This Friday, varsity football travels to McMichael.
