Saura Weekly Update 8/19/24 - 8/23/24

Hello Sauras! Last week was a great start to the new school year. Thank you parents for your patience in regards to schedules and buses. We should have most of the schedule issues resolved and if you are still having issues with bus pick up and drop off times, please reach out to us at South and our assistant principal, Ashley Nowlin, will help get the issues resolved. This Friday our Seniors will be having a Senior Sunrise on the practice field at South Stokes. This Friday we will be operating on the Homeroom schedule. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Hannah Holness. Hannah reached out to her teacher over the summer to talk about the future of Environmental Club and Envirothon at South Stokes. Thank you Hannah, for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, on Monday volleyball travels to Bishop McGuinness, tennis hosts West Stokes and soccer travels to North Surry. On Tuesday, tennis travels to Allegheny. Thursday, golf is at Hemlock, tennis hosts Mt. Airy, volleyball hosts West Stokes, and soccer travels to West Stokes.
