Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. On Monday 4th quarter progress reports will be coming home. As we head into this final stretch of the school year please help your child finish strong this year academically by reminding them to come to school and to stay on top of their assignments. AP Exams continue this week with AP Calculus and AP Computer Science on Monday and AP Spanish and AP Biology on Wednesday, good luck students in these classes. On Thursday and Friday of this week the band will be traveling to the Piedmont Honor band at Glenn High School. The rehearsal is Thursday, and the performance if Friday at 6:00 pm at Glenn High School. Thursday and Friday night at 7:00 pm the South Stokes Theater Department will be performing Jack and Friends at the South Stokes Auditorium, tickets are $5. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to our prom royalty, Prom Princess Becca Dickson , Prom Prince Isiah Lash, Prom Queen Sydney Mounce and Prom King Landon Johnson. Thank you to Mrs. Barczy and Mrs. Ferguson, our Prom Coordinators. These ladies did a great job making this year's prom a success. This week in Saura sports, on Monday soccer hosts Alleghany for Senior Night. On Tuesday soccer hosts Mount Airy, Golf heads to the regionals at Colonial Country Club, and baseball and softball both have first round play off games, opponents to be determined. On Saturday, track will have the regional competition at Davie High School.
