Saura Weekly Update 5/8/22-5/15/22

Hello Sauras, this is Mr. Bottoms with your weekly update from South Stokes. We wish all of our Saura mothers a Happy Mothers Day. This Saturday, May 14th from 7-11 is the South Stokes Prom. We hope our Juniors, Seniors and guests have a memorable time. This Sunday, May 15th, the South Stokes Sauras Band will be having a concert in the school auditorium at 3:00 pm. We invite you to join us for a wonderful time. In Saura sports we would like to congratulate the Baseball team and softball team on winning the NW 1A Conference Tournaments. We would also like to congratulate our Golf team on a good showing in regionals, and wish Keelan Robertson and Larsen Gallimore the best of luck this week as they play in the state championships this week. The Sauras track team also did a great job at the conference track meet with several of our teams/individuals going to the regional competition. This Tuesday, Baseball and Softball will be playing home games in the playoffs. On Monday soccer plays at home against Alleghany for Senior Night, and plays away against Mt. airy on Thursday for a big game.
