Saura Weekly Update 5/30/22 - 6/3/22

Hello Sauras, this is Mr. Bottoms with the last weekly update from South Stokes for this school year. School is out tomorrow, Monday 5/30/22 for Memorial Day. Please take a moment in remembrance for all of the men and women that have given their lives in military service to our country. Exams will continue this week, with each day being an early dismissal day, with school dismissing at 12:20. If your child will need to be dismissed after their exam but prior to 12:20, they will need to bring a note and give it to their teacher. The final day of school is June 2nd. The Senior Graduation Ceremony will be on June 3rd at 7:00 in the football stadium at South Stokes. We will hold the ceremony in the main gym if weather does not permit an outside event. We will also be streaming the ceremony to our Youtube Channel and on social media. To the families of this year's juniors, over the summer senior pictures will be on July 14th and July 18th. More information will be sent out through the summer. In Saura sports we would like to congratulate our Lady Sauras Soccer team and Softball team on a great season. Softball finished runner up in the Regional Championship, and soccer made it to the playoffs.
