Saura Weekly Update 5/29/23 - 6/2/23

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. School is out on Monday for Memorial Day. Please take a moment to remember and honor those members of the US military that have given the last full measure of devotion for their country. Tuesday night at 6:30 there will be a band booster meeting in the band room. This week, June 1st, the exam period will begin. I want to remind parents that students that have transportation may leave school after their exam. They will need a written permission to leave early. Buses will not run until the end of the regular school day, 3:20. Students will need to bring their Chromebooks fully charged with their case and charger to all of their exams. Students that are exempt from all exams should turn their Chromebook in before the exam period begins on June 1st. June 7th is a half day, and the last day of school. Graduation will be on June 9th, at 7:00 pm in the football stadium. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to our Lady Sauras Softball team. These ladies have made us all proud with their hard work to get to the final four in the state. Great job ladies!
