Hello Sauras, this is Mr. Bottoms with your weekly update from South Stokes. Exams will begin Thursday 5/26/22 and will run through the end of school on June 2nd. All exam days will be an early dismissal day, with school dismissing at 12:20. If your child will need to be dismissed after their exam but prior to 12:20, they will need to bring a note and give it to their teacher. A reminder that Senior Graduation will be on June 3rd at 7:30 in the football stadium at South Stokes. In Saura sports we would like to congratulate our track team member, and freshman, Jalee Brown on her outstanding job at the State Finals this weekend. She placed 4th in the 100 meter dash and 3rd in the 200 meter. We would also like to congratulate our baseball team on a great season. They won the conference and tournament championship and made it to the 4th round in the playoffs. On Monday soccer has an away playoff game against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in Mooresboro. This week softball will being playing in the regionals as they make their way to the final four in the state tournament. This regional battle will be the best of three series, and we wish our Lady Sauras the best of luck as they go up against South Stanley this week. Game days and times will be announced over social media and the school website as soon as they are confirmed due to weather.
