Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. On Monday and Tuesday yearbooks will be distributed during lunch. Tuesday we will offer sports physicals for student athletes at South Stokes, cost is $10. This Friday at 9:00 am we will be having our Awards Day Ceremony in the main gym at South Stokes. Parents will be able to enter the gym beginning at 8:30. Next week, June 1st, the exam period will begin. I want to remind parents that students that have transportation may leave school after their exam. Buses will not run until the end of the regular school day, 3:20. June 7th is a half day, and the last day of school. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to our track State Champions, Jalee Brown and Barry Hairston Jr. These two students have worked hard for this exceptional achievement and they have made the Saura Nation proud. This week in Saura sports, our Lady Sauras Softball team will be playing in the Regional Series against Union Academy. Day and time of the games will be announced through our social media site once it has been determined.
