Saura Weekly Update 5/15/23 - 5/19/23

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. Happy Mother's Day to our Saura Families. On Tuesday we will offer sports physicals for student athletes at South Stokes, contact Coach Clark for more details. This Wednesday our Seniors will be giving back to our elementary schools with the Saura Seniors Serve Day. Our seniors return to their elementary school for their Saura graduate walk and then help the school with a service project. This Wednesday we will be having a School Improvement Team meeting at 3:30 in room D3. This Thursday we will be having the National Honor Society induction ceremony in the library at 6:30 pm. This Saturday the FFA Banquet will be held in the main gym at 6:00 pm. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Meredith Booe. Mrs. Booe works hard as our Senior advisor in organizing the Saura Seniors Serve trip, senior caps and gown pictures and graduation. Thank you Mrs. Booe. This week in Saura sports, on Monday and Tuesday the Golf team will be playing in the State Tournament. On Tuesday Softball plays Bethany in the third round of the state playoffs at South Stokes. On Friday, members of the track team will be at the State finals at NC A and T.
