Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. I hope everyone had a good and restful spring break. School resumes on Monday, April 17th. On Monday there will be an Athletic Boosters meeting at 6:30m pm. On Wednesday there will be a School Improvement Team Meeting at 3:30 in room D3. On Thursday, April 20th, Seniors will have cap and gown pictures. On Friday several of our students will be participating in the Special Olympics, we wish them good luck! Congratulations to Ms. Tudor's Home room on winning the South Stokes March Madness Attendance Challenge. Attendance is important, and parents please encourage your children to attend school. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to all the volunteers that help out at South Stokes. This week is National School Volunteer Week, and we appreciate all the help that our volunteers provide in the concession stands, helping at special events, and helping students in the classroom, thank you. This week in Saura sports, on Monday tennis travels to Starmount. On Tuesday tennis hosts Millennium, baseball travels to North Stokes and soccer travels to East Wilkes. On Wednesday track is home, softball hosts Surry Central, tennis travels to Mount Airy and baseball travels to Surry Central. On Thursday soccer travels to Parkland. On Friday baseball hosts North Stokes and softball travels to Starmount.
