Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. On Monday we will be holding another Spirit Night at the Dairio in King from 5-8. A portion of the sales that night will go back to South Stokes. Prom tickets will be on sale this week and will cost $40. On Wednesday we will be having a SIT meeting after school in room D3. On Thursday, 4/18th we will be having Senior cap and gown pictures at South Stokes in the main gym. Picture ordering information can be found on the senior web page or when it was posted on our Facebook page a few weeks ago. Spring Sports pictures are also on 4/18th, and picture ordering information was posted on our Athletics page as well. We wish our JROTC Drill team good luck as they travel to Mooresville this Friday and Saturday for their annual drill competition. Spring break will begin this weekend, and students will return on April 29th. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Michael Webb. Michael has been very supportive and encouraging to his fellow peers as he is working off campus this semester. Michael expressed, "we are representing South Stokes, let's be the best we can be". Michael has shown maturity, ethics and professionalism while showing leadership to his peers who work with him. Way to go Mikey !! This week in Saura Sports, on Monday tennis travels to North Surry, and golf is at cross creek. on Tuesday, baseball hosts North Stokes, softball travels to High Point Christian, tennis hosts Starmount and golf is at Cedarbrook. On Wednesday golf is at New River, track travels to North Stokes, and baseball hosts Starmount. On Thursday tennis and softball both host Mt. Airy. On Friday softball hosts Starmount and baseball travels to North Stokes.
