Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. Happy Easter to all of our Saura families. School is out Monday for Easter Break. The Be Pro, Be Proud Skilled workforce event concludes on Tuesday this week. The next Driver's Education Class will have open for registration on April 2nd, and closes April 9th. To participate, students must have been born on or before 10/29/2009. The roster will be posted on April 9th, and payment due by April 26th. The class will be 4/29, 4/30, 5/1, 5/2, 5/3, and 5/6. On Thursday we will be having the Farer Appreciation Dinner at South Stokes. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Braxton Hall. After a lab in science class there was a sink full of dishes and would not accept anything other than his teacher's thanks for doing them. He said he enjoyed helping out when he could. Thank you for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, on Tuesday, baseball hosts NCLA, softball hosts Elkin, soccer travels to North Stokes and tennis is at Mount Airy. On Wednesday baseball travels to East Surry. On Thursday soccer and tennis travels to Elkin, track travels to North Stokes and softball hosts to West Stokes. On Friday softball travels to Alleghany and on Saturday softball travels to South Caldwell to play Lake Norman.
