Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. There will be no school this Friday and next Monday for Easter Break. On Tuesday there will be a band booster meeting in the band room at 6:00 pm. On Wednesday seniors will pick up their caps and gowns for graduation at lunch. On Friday students received the day and time they will be participating in the NC Be Pro, Be Proud Workforce Event. If students missed homeroom on Friday, they should come to the office to find out this information. This event will be on March 27th, 28th and April 2nd. Students will rotate through a trailer that has simulated skilled job experiences. The 3rd quarter will end on Thursday. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Grayson Baumgartner. Grayson is always in class on time and ready to learn. He has an enthusiastic attitude about the content in our class and always goes above and beyond what is asked. Thank you for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, on Monday, baseball hosts Bishop and softball hosts North Stokes. On Tuesday, track is at North Stokes, baseball travels to East Wilkes, tennis hosts East Wilkes, softball travels to Starmount and golf is at Cedar Brooke. On Wednesday golf is at Pilot Knob and tennis is at West Stokes. On Thursday soccer and tennis travels to Starmount, baseball hosts East Wilkes, and softball hosts to West Forsyth.
