Hello Sauras, this is Mr. Bottoms with your weekly update from South Stokes. The school calendar has been updated due to the weather days we had in January. The new calendar changes are February 21, March 21, and June 1 are Full Student Days. June 2nd is now the Last Day of School/Early Dismissal. Senior ads are on sale at www.jostensadservice.com until Feb. 10. Please see Ms. A Smith in D6 for more information. February 7th - 11th is National School Counselor's Week, Thank you to Mrs. Sawyer and Ms. Spargo for the great job they do for our students at South Stokes. Thursday February 10th from 5:30-7:00 is parent teacher conference Night. In Saura sports, basketball will be travelling to North Stokes on Tuesday and traveling to Elkin on Friday. Wrestlers participating in Regional will be travelling to Alleghany on Friday and Saturday. With a look ahead, next week is bus driver appreciation week. Sophomores and Juniors will be taking the pre ACT and ACT on March 1st.
