Saura Weekly Update 2/5/24 - 2/9/24

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. Monday night there will be an Athletic Boosters meeting in the cafeteria at 6:30. This Tuesday and Thursday we will begin having ACT review sessions for Juniors after school from 3:30-4:30. This week the sessions will be in room D7 with Ms. Holmes. Juniors interested in participating should sign up in the office on Monday. Snacks and drinks will be provided. This Saturday, February 10th, we will be having a Winter Formal at South Stokes from 8-11. This formal is open to all students. Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased on schoolcashonline or in the front office. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to members of the Beta Club that have helped the Athletic boosters with the concession stand. Hailey Church, Jade Bullins, Tessa Brim, Mikayla Harger, Samantha Bridges, Elia Jaffe, Gracelyn Heath, Hannah McGee, and Hannah Flinchum. These ladies have represented the Beta Club and South Stokes High School in an extremely positive manner. Their time and efforts were appreciated by not only the Athletic Boosters, but also by the South Stokes community as we support our Winter Athletic Programs. Thank you for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, on Tuesday basketball travels to East Surry. On Friday basketball travels to Starmount. Friday and Saturday our wrestling team will be traveling to South Davidson to participate in Individual Regionals.
