Saura Weekly Update 2/28/22-3/4/22

Hello Sauras, this is Mr. Bottoms with your weekly update from South Stokes. Congratulations to Meredith Booe on being selected at the South Stokes High School Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Booe does a great job in our History department, helping our seniors as their advisor, and showing her Saura Pride everyday. This Tuesday, March 1st is Future and Fun Day at South Stokes High School. We will have guest speakers and future-focused activities lined up for our students in the morning with fun and engaging activities in the afternoon. Sophomores and Juniors will be taking the pre ACT and ACT tests on that day as well. In Saura sports our Men's Basketball team's historic season has come to an end. All Sauras are proud of this team and their accomplishments of the conference championship and conference tournament championship. On Tuesday softball begins with a home game against Forbush. Also on Tuesday Girls Soccer is at West Stokes. On Wednesday the softball team plays against West Stokes at home. On Thursday Tennis is at home against Forbush and on Friday Baseball begins at home against McMichael.
