Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. This week is Love the Bus Week. Let's say thank you to our bus drivers at South Stokes for the great job that they do. Tuesday and Thursday our ACT review sessions for Juniors continues after school from 3:30-4:30. This week the sessions will focus on science, and will be in room C14 with Ms. Johnson. Juniors interested in participating should sign up in the office on Monday. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Tickets for the South Stokes Athletic Boosters Club $10,000 Cash Give Away are on sale for a $100 donation. Ticket holders will receive a nice dinner for two and the opportunity to win $10,000. All donations go to support all of our Athletic programs at South Stokes High School. The event will be March 23rd at 6:00pm. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Kyaha King. Kyaha was very kind to new students in band and made them feel welcome on their first day with our group. Thank you for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, on Tuesday basketball travels to in county rival North Stokes. At North Stokes on Tuesday night, donations will be accepted for the family of Austin Tilley, whose family lost their house to a fire. While we may be rivals, we all call Stokes County home. Please consider helping this family in need. On Friday basketball travels to Elkin. On Friday and Saturday South Stokes wrestlers Cohen Jennings and Isaac Nelson will be traveling to the Greensboro Coliseum to participate in the State tournament.
