Saura Weekly Update 12/18/23 - 12/21/23

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. On Monday Night join us at the Dairio in King for South Stokes Spirit Night between 5pm-8pm. On Tuesday night at 7pm we will be holding our Holiday Band Concert at South Stokes. School will dismiss early on Thursday, December 21st at 12:20 for Christmas Break. School will resume on January 3rd. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to our Beta Club. These kids have done so much for the Stokes County Community this semester. They have provided meals for local families, toys for kids in the foster care system, contributed to the CROP Hunger Walk Campaign and helped out with concessions at Southeastern and South Stokes. Thank you for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, on Monday the girls basketball team travels to Carver. On Tuesday, the wrestling team travels to Southern Alamance, and the boys basketball team will be playing in the Frank Spencer Holiday Classic at Mount Tabor. On Wednesday, the girls basketball team will host Carver at South and the boys team will continue in the Frank Spencer on Wednesday and Thursday, time TBD. On Thursday wrestling travels to Northwest Guilford, and girls basketball travels to North Surry. On December 28th, 29th and 30th, South Stokes will be hosting a Christmas JV Basketball Tournament.
