Saura Weekly Update 11/27/23 - 12/1/23

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. On Tuesday there will be a Band Booster meeting in the band room at 6:00 pm. On Saturday our JROTC Cadets and Band will be Marching in the King Christmas Parade from 11:00 - 2:00. The band will also be playing Christmas music at the Walnut Cove Tree Lighting Ceremony in Walnut Cove from 4-7 pm. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Ty Lawson. Ty helped with welding and modifying a metal structure for Mr. Tuttle. Thank you for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, girls and boys basketball are home on Tuesday as we host Surry Central and wrestling travels to North Iredell on Tuesday. On Wednesday basketball travels to McMichael High School. On Friday basketball travels to West Stokes. On Saturday, the wrestling team travels to Bandy's High School.
