Saura weekly Update 11/13/23 - 11/17/23

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. On Monday and Tuesday, the All County band will be at South Stokes High School. On Monday several seniors will be traveling to Guilford College and NC A&T. Our theater department will be holding public performances of Wind in the Willows this Friday November 17th at 7:00 pm and Saturday November 18th at 7:00 pm. Our Gift Basket donation fundraiser is underway, and raffle tickets cost $5. The different baskets are on display in the trophy case at South Stokes in the lobby. You can purchase tickets in the main office and online through schoolcashonline at the school website. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to our Carpentry and Masonry teacher, Eric Mercer. Mr. Mercer has worked with his students to help Habitat for Humanity build homes as well as numerous projects around South Stokes. Thank you for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, girls basketball will have scrimmages on Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday our wrestling team will host Alleghany and Eastern Guilford. This Friday, basketball opens its season against McMichael High School at home.
