Saura Weekly Update 10/23/23 - 10/27/23

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. On Monday, our sophomores will be taking the pre ACT. Please make sure your student is on time on Monday morning. On Thursday the South Stokes Band will be holding a Halloween band concert in the auditorium at 7:00pm. On Friday, we will be holding our annual Powder Puff Football game at 6:30 pm, admission is $5. Also on Friday the 1st quarter comes to an end. Your child's teacher may reach out to schedule a conference if they feel your child may be in danger of not passing this semester. If you have concerns, you may also contact your child's teacher to schedule a conference. This Saturday, the annual JROTC Military Ball will be taking place at South Stokes. Next week October 30th is a teacher workday, and November 1st is the SSHS Fall Blood Drive. Please sign up to help our community by giving blood. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Jaryd Galloway. Jaryd is kind to his classmates and tries to encourage others to do their best. Thank you for your kindness and leadership, Jaryd.
