Saura Weekly Update 10/21/24 - 10/25/24

Hello Sauras! This is Chris Bottoms with your Saura Weekly Update. On Monday, October 21st we will be having Homeroom to send home report cards. Tuesday, Southeastern Stokes Middle School's 8th grade band will be joining our band for a Halloween Concert at 7:00 pm. This Saturday our JROTC Cadets will be having their annual Marine Corps Military Ball at South Stokes. This week's Saura Shout Out goes to Jessica Wilson. Jessa spent her summer planning a new Kindness Club and getting it started, running meetings, and volunteering at local places. The club has already giving appreciation to our cafeteria staff this year with more to come!. Thank you Jessa, for your kindness and leadership. This week in Saura Sports, congratulations to our football team on a big win against county rival North Stokes, and congratulations to our Lady Sauras Volleyball team for winning the conference tournament for the first time in school history. On Monday, soccer travels to Starmount, and members from our golf team will be going to regionals at Colonial Country Club. Good luck to Haley Tyndall, Makayla Boles, Eve Hall, Victoria Aguilar-Smith and Malyn Washburn. On Tuesday volleyball is at home for the first round for the state playoffs. On Wednesday soccer hosts North Stokes. This Friday football hosts Starmount for Senior Night, with kick off at 7:00. Thank you for your support of South Stokes High School, and as always, GO SAURAS
