Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. Our Beta Club Induction Ceremony will be on Tuesday, October 18th, at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium at South Stokes. On Wednesday we will have a school improvement team meeting at 3:30 in room D3. On Friday, October 21st we will have retakes for Fall Pictures. With a look ahead, South Stokes High School will be hosting a Haunted House on October 29th beginning at 7pm and ending around 10pm. The cost is $8, and snacks and drinks will be sold. The funds raised will go to help the our school. A reminder to the parents in the car rider line in the afternoon, please pull forward and follow the instructions from our traffic line team, they want to make sure your child gets to your car safely, and quickly. This week I would like to send out a Saura Shout out to our fabulous Cafeteria ladies, Vicki, Misty, Beth, Patty, and Amy. Thank you for all that you do! This week in Saura Sports, the Volleyball Tournament begins at East Wilkes, with our Lady Sauras going up against Elkin. Also on Monday, Soccer is at McMichael. Om Wednesday soccer plays at Starmount. On Thursday Cross Country is at Ivey Redmon and JV Football is away at East Wilkes, making up for a previously missed JV game. On Friday, due to the North Stokes track project not being completed, we will be hosting their home game at South Stokes. Since this is their home game, they will be running the ticket sales which means, like an away game, our Saura Cards and Student passes will not be accepted.
