Saura Weekly Update 10/10/22 - 10/14/22

Hello Sauras, this is your weekly update from South Stokes. This Wednesday we will be administering the PSAT to students that have registered to take it. On Thursday night we will be having FAFSA Night at South Stokes. This night is for our Senior families to come in and learn more information about college, the application process, and how to apply for financial aid and scholarships. For freshmen and sophomores interested in nature and international travel, Ms. Johnson is holding an interest meeting for her June 2024 EF trip to Costa Rica on TUESDAY Oct. 18 at 7 pm in the media center. This meeting is for interested students AND Their parents. Contact Ms. Johnson with questions. This week there will be an interest meeting for students wishing to join the South Stokes Cheerleaders, pay attention to the morning announcements for day and time. This week in Saura Sports, on Monday Soccer is at Mt. Airy and volleyball is at East Wilkes. Tuesday volleyball is hosting North Stokes at our Dig for the Cure Night. This night we will be raising awareness and donations in the fight against Cancer. Wednesday soccer is at East Wilkes and Cross Country is at Fischer River Park. On Thursday JV Football is at Starmount and volleyball is home against Elkin for our Senior Night. On Friday, Football in home against Starmount, and it is senior night. At the Football game we will also be recognizing Seniors from Band, Cross Country and Cheerleading.
