Saura Weekly Update 1/17/22-1/21/22

Hello Sauras, this is Mr. Bottoms with your weekly update from South Stokes. On Monday January 17th, we will be out of school in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As our next driver's education classes begin this week, please remember that if school is cancelled due to weather, Driver's ed will also be cancelled. The calendar has been changed due to school being canceled on January 4th. January 4th Student day has changed to an Optional TWD The makeup day on for that day is May 31, which is now a Full Student Day. June 1st Now the Last Day of School. The updated calendar can be found at the Stokes County Schools website. Senior ads are on sale at www.jostensadservice.comuntil Feb. 10. Please see Ms. A Smith in D6 for more information. This Wednesday we will be having a School Improvement Team meeting at 3:30. This week is sports the Basketball game on Tuesday against Elkin has been postponed and will be rescheduled soon. Tuesday wrestling will be at home against Elkin and North. Wednesday Basketball will be home against West Stokes. On Friday basketball is away at Alleghany High School. On Saturday the Wrestling Conference Tournament will be at Elkin High School.
